While rotating and outputting power, the crankshaft also drives other key engine components. For example, it drives the valve train (such as the camshaft) and ensures the proper functioning of auxiliary devices such as the fan, water pump, and hydraulic pump, guaranteeing the normal operation of the engine's cooling and lubrication systems.
